SecurLine Horizontal Lifeline System

Compliant with BS EN-795-C 2012 and TS 16415:2013 technical documentation. Suitable for use by 3 people.

This version of the SecurLine lifeline allows easy passage through intermediate supports with a simple carabiner, ideal for fall protection from rooftop terraces.

This fall arrest system allows for continuous movement without detachment from intermediate supports. In the event of a fall, the energy absorber will limit the forces, and the permanent deformation of the absorber will serve as a warning to future users.

Corner crossings must therefore be traversed using a simple forked lanyard. The lifeline can be installed on standard interfaces from the SecurLine range, or via specific interfaces.

These are studied by our design office specializing in fall protection systems. The installation will comply with regulations on working at height as well as the requirements of standard NF EN 795:2012.

SecurLine works with specialist installers and resellers to guarantee the quality of the installation and therefore the quality of the fall protection system.

Technical specifications

• All parts are guaranteed for 5 years against any manufacturing defect by the manufacturer, under normal conditions of use (a particularly corrosive atmosphere may reduce this period).
• The lifeline absorber has an integrated fall and tension indicator.
• This lifeline is only compliant in wall and roof positions. The intermediate piece cannot be installed in a “ceiling” position.
• If the lifeline has an angle, an absorber must be installed at both ends.
• This horizontal lifeline can be installed on rigid or deformable interfaces of the SecurBac type as well as on custom-made interfaces.
