Solar panels can be connected through the power port, and data retrieval is seamless with Vision II software—no monthly subscription fees are required.
The Micromate Plus offers interchangeable triaxial geophones and microphones, independent of the base unit. Only the sensors require calibration, allowing the unit to stay deployed in the field. With an extra set of pre-calibrated sensors, you can quickly swap them out to avoid downtime. Geophones can be mounted on horizontal or vertical surfaces, and you can monitor them simultaneously alongside the linear and sound microphones in real time, fully time-synchronized. The sound microphone captures both decibel levels (dB) and audio clips that help identify the source of the noise. The geophones also meet multiple standards in one sensor. For in-field configuration, the fail-safe keypad ensures functionality, even in areas with no cellular coverage.
Designed to withstand the toughest conditions, the Micromate Plus comes with color-coded Mil-Spec connectors, an IP68 rating, and a rugged aluminum case with an easily removable protective boot. The robust connectors are even usable while wearing gloves. Capable of operating in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to 55°C (-40°F to 131°F), the unit is built for reliability in all environments. Data retrieval is flexible too—either through automatic uploads via Wi-Fi or cellular connection to the cloud-based Vision II platform or through offline options using the USB-C port for a thumb drive or a direct computer connection.
